[ubuntulinux] Stellarium again.

I read this group every day and have picked up quite a bit of good info.
I still can't get Stellarium to run, but found out a few more things.
I made a mess of the first install of 10.10 and just reinstalled it.
Now when it boots, there are 2 instances of linux standard, 2 of safe mode and one XP.

Apparently Myself and owner are 2 different people to Ubuntu. I discovered that Stellarium is going under owner and is not even in the list of programs under usr. I finally found it, and it's under owner, hidden somewhere else. It did this before I reinstalled Ubuntu, so it isn't the reinstall.
My Dell XP laptop does this also, and it infuriates me. I changed everything over to my name, but Dell's XP in its wisdom, still sticks downloads under OWNER. If I delete owner, I can't get to the hosts file. But as administrator, I can at least get to the Hosts file.

Aside from stupid mistakes like losing the links in places menu, I've pretty much got Ubuntu set to work the way I want. So I'd prefer not to reinstall again.

I just have a bug about things called "my" and "owner" The XP computers all say "Yes, Master?" instead of My Computer.

Thanks,
W
